UNIVERSITAS Austria Interpreters' and Translators' Association, is the country’s most comprehensive professional organization, serving language professionals and their clients in all fields of translational activity. 2004: 50 years of professional service

In 2004, UNIVERSITAS celebrated its 50th anniversary with a conference from November 4 to November 6, 2004. At this anniversary conference, translation and interpretation professionals took stock of the progress and challenges of the past decades and looked ahead at some of the new challenges and opportunities facing our profession. Given the importance of continuing education and professional development, UNIVERSITAS offered eight workshops:
